(Intense Pulse Light) forms of permanent hair reduction
using the Lumenis One. The Lumenis One currently offers the
most advanced technology on the market incorporating IPL,
vascular laser, and hair removal laser technologies. Lumenis
One also incorporates integrated pre-cooling of the skin for
the least possible discomfort to the patient during
treatments.
How many treatments will I receive to
achieve my goal?
Permanent hair reduction is dependent on a number of factors
such as hair color, skin color and the phase of hair growth.
Both LASER and IPL target actively growing hair. All hair
grows through phases, the actively growing phase and the
inactive or resting phase. Hairs in the resting phase of
normal growth are completely unaffected by IPL and Laser.
This is why generally for good effect a minimum of 4-8
treatments in the actively growing phase is required to
treat all hairs and achieve maximum permanent hair
reduction.
